Refund Policy
Last updated: May 25, 2026
This Refund Policy explains how cancellations, trial passes, billing, and refund requests are handled for Stream Wave subscriptions. By creating an account, redeeming a trial pass, or subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to this Policy.
1. Monthly billing
Stream Wave is designed around monthly subscription billing on the 1st of each month. Customers who sign up without a trial pass are expected to pay when they subscribe. Future renewals are intended to align with the 1st of each month.
2. Trial passes
Stream Wave may provide unique one-time trial pass codes to selected new customers. If you redeem a valid trial pass, your trial access may last until the 1st of the next month.
Trial passes are optional, limited, non-transferable, and may be restricted to one use. If payment information is required during signup, your selected paid plan may begin automatically after the trial unless you cancel before the trial ends.
3. Cancellations
Once Stripe billing is connected, customers may cancel their subscription through the billing portal in their dashboard or through another cancellation method made available by Stream Wave.
Cancellations generally take effect at the end of the current billing period. To avoid a future renewal charge, you should cancel before your next billing date. If you are on a trial, you should cancel before the trial ends if you do not want your paid plan to begin.
4. General refund rule
Because Stream Wave provides a managed setup, account review, activation workflow, dashboard access, and support, monthly subscription payments are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started and setup has been reviewed, activated, or made available.
5. Possible refund exceptions
Stream Wave may review refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Possible exceptions may include situations where:
- Your account was charged but setup was never reviewed or activated.
- You were charged after a cancellation was properly completed.
- A duplicate charge occurred.
- A verified service issue caused by Stream Wave prevented reasonable use of the service during the paid period.
6. Non-refundable situations
Refunds are generally not provided for:
- Failure to cancel before the next billing date.
- Failure to cancel before a trial converts to a paid plan.
- Change of mind after setup review or activation.
- Issues caused by customer device, network, browser, or app environment.
- Misuse of the service or violation of the Terms of Service.
- Partial-month usage after the subscription has already started.
7. How to request a refund
To request a refund review, contact support@streamwave.app within 14 days of the charge. Include your account email, the charge date, the selected plan, and a clear explanation of the issue.
Submitting a refund request does not guarantee approval. Stream Wave may request additional information before making a decision.
8. Chargebacks and disputes
If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact Stream Wave support first so we can review the issue. Filing a payment dispute or chargeback may result in account suspension while the issue is investigated.
9. Account access after cancellation
After cancellation, you may continue to have access until the end of the current billing period unless your account is terminated for misuse, nonpayment, security risk, or violation of the Terms of Service.
10. Changes to this Policy
Stream Wave may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Updates may be posted on the website, shown in the dashboard, or sent by email where appropriate.
11. Contact
